Not in the mood for Halloween? You can change up your Paper Pumpkin kits to any theme you want! I think the polka dot burlap bags are so cute. Why not use those bags to make a little birthday treat bag for someone special?
I cut the top flap across the entire bag so I could unravel the top of the bag for a frayed look. I used Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine that I had on hand (not part of the kit) to stitch through the top of the bag. It was a basic stitch, I am no seamstress! I also had leftover tags and banners from a previous kit so I stamped those with stamps from previous kits in Strawberry Slush ink. I really like the black polka dots with the Strawberry Slush embellishments.
