Happy Birthday Treats

There are so many fun things to do with the Paper Pumpkin kits. This week I decided to make a Happy Birthday treat using items from the Paper Pumpkin kits. I am embarrassed to tell you how easy this lil treat was to make. I placed a flat sucker/lollipop inside one of the 3x3 cards that came in the kit. Punched holes at the bottom of the card and threaded some of the baker's twine through the holes to hold the sucker in place. Then, I wrapped the twine around a piece of some linen ribbon (from the April kit). Stamped Happy Birthday on the pre-cut banner (from the kit) and added some candy dots for embellishment! You can write a birthday message on the inside and it would be the perfect birthday treat!   Share your happy this month over at the My Pumpkin Challenge ! We would love to see your creations.  I hope you are having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!

By the time I get to my kids, they have forgotten everything. EVERYTHING. I am serious. They cannot remember anything by the time I get home. Not even what they ate for lunch. They mysteriously forget everything, until it is time for bed. Then they remember last minute permission slips that need signed or queen costumes they need in two days! Anyhoo, back to my dad. He is the best. Sometimes he is a grumpy bear, but deep down he is the most caring person I know. I can ...
