Thankful For You

Hello there! I realized I never used this cute frame we got with our April Paper Pumpkin kits. I actually used many past kits on this project. I keep all my scraps and left over pieces in in a big folder so they are in one place. The My Pumpkin Challenge theme for this month is "Give it Pretty" so it worked out well to use this frame. I thought about leaving the glass out of the frame so I could pop up some of the paper details, but I decided to put the glass back in the frame just in case I wanted to use it as a note board with a dry erase marker. I think it would be cute to leave little notes to my kids at the bottom. What have you been making? Please be sure to share your Paper Pumpkin creations over at the My Pumpkin Challenge ! Thanks for stopping by.

November Challenge: Give it Pretty

Hello time travelers. Just kidding. It just feels like we are time travelling right? Where has 2014 gone? I must have blinked because October was a blur and we are fast approaching December! Yikes. Well, I am pretty sure I took some picture along the way so I will go back and reminisce. The November Challenge is here! I hope you have had to chance to head over to the My Pumpkin Challenge for some lovely ideas and inspiration. Here is my sample this week. Below is a close-up. I wanted to make my apothecary vase pretty for Thanksgiving so I used my Paper Pumpkin kit to add some flair to it. I added a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock under the "thanks" to make it pop, everything else is from my Paper Pumpkin kits. Now this will sit atop my piano all dolled for fall!  Have you had a chance to play with your latest Paper Pumpkin kit? I hope you will share your creations with us at the My Pumpkin Challenge! Thanks for stopping by.

Last of Sweets & Treats!

This is the last week of Sweet & Treats over at the My Pumpkin Challenge ! I hope you will stop by to see what everyone has been creating. Need some new ideas? We have them. The Design Team plus many lovely ladies have linked up their creations, click here and scroll to the bottom to see them all!  While you are there, share your creations! We would love to see them. Do you remember that cute box from a few kits back? I punched out a circle in the middle of the lid, cut back the inner flaps, stamped "Boo" on a window sheet, added some embellishments and added some candy. Boom! It is done. I usually have extras from all the Paper Pumpkin kits! I save them all together so I can use them on different projects. The Paper Pumpkin kits make it so easy to create! Thanks for stopping by!

Sweet Treats Part IIII

Not in the mood for Halloween? You can change up your Paper Pumpkin kits to any theme you want! I think the polka dot burlap bags are so cute. Why not use those bags to make a little birthday treat bag for someone special? I cut the top flap across the entire bag so I could unravel the top of the bag for a frayed look. I used Strawberry Slush Thick Baker's Twine that I had on hand (not part of the kit) to stitch through the top of the bag. It was a basic stitch, I am no seamstress! I also had leftover tags and banners from a previous kit so I stamped those with stamps from previous kits in Strawberry Slush ink. I really like the black polka dots with the Strawberry Slush embellishments. For more Paper Pumpkin inspiration please head over to the My Pumpkin Challenge ! See what others have been making this month. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Pumpkin Treasure

Ahoy matey! I changed up my Paper Pumpkin this week into a cute little treasure theme, perfect for a pirate party! The gold foil wrapped chocolate coin inspired me! Fill up your burlap bag with the chocolate, add a little pretend map and notes then wrap up the bag like a pouch. This would make the perfect little party favors for your lil pirates! X marks the spot! I used a lighter/flame to lightly burn the edges of one of the tags from the kit so the little map looks distressed and piratey. (I made that word up) I have been having so much fun with this kit. What have you been making? Be sure to visit the My Pumpkin Challenge for inspiration and to share your creations.
