Merry Christmas to you!

I cannot believe Christmas is tomorrow. What a memorable year this has been! I know sometimes December can be a hectic month, but as I sit and reflect I know that I am truly blessed! I have two beautiful kids, a wonderful family, a loving and supportive boyfriend and the best circle of friends a gal can ask for!

Last night me and my kiddos made some holiday treats, we watched football and enjoyed some quality time together! I love lazy Sundays! We even stayed in our jammies all day......so comfy! We cannot be the only ones who do that, right?

Take a peek at a few of the Christmas items I have been working on.

I made this wine tag for a friend. I think they are my new favorite thing! Wine is a universal gift and you can make a wine tag for any occasion!
(I left the space at the bottom of the tag so she could write her own personal message.)
I love snowflakes. I am especially loving this color combination too! (Soft Suede and Very Vanilla)
I added some rhinestone bling to each snowflake and tied some tulle around it.
Yes, more snowflakes and more bling!

Did you make any Holiday cards this year?

I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and I hope that you make some beautiful memories with your loved ones!

New! Wishes and Stars Challenge

Let's welcome August with a new challenge over at the My Pumpkin Challenge . The theme this month is " Wishes & Stars ." It totally fits the July Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the options they provided in this kit and all the products too. You still have time to sign up for your Paper Pumpkin kit and to take advantage of the great deal going on now. Here is my sample this week. I made a star border with the different size star shapes from the kit. I traced the star outlines first, cut around my pencil lines then adhered the stars. (I thought it would look cleaner that way instead of having to cut around the stars and get in the tight areas.) The front says Make a and the inside actually says WISH, but I left my camera at work so I will show you the inside tomorrow. Don't forget to stop by the My Pumpkin Challenge today to for more inspiration. We would love for you to share your creations too! Don't be shy, even if you do not have a blog you can participa...

December Challenge: Brr! It's Cold!

Let's start December with a new challenge over at the My Pumpkin Challenge ! The last Paper Pumpkin kit was so adorable. I can't wait to see what everyone is making with it. The Challenge this month is Brr! It's cold. I live in Colorado and it is usually really cold and snowy this time of year. Yesterday the temperature was 60 degrees. My son wore shorts to school. It does not feel like December yet! It is weird to see Christmas lights hanging with no snow. I don't think snow is even in the forecast in Denver. But, in the spirit of winter here is my sample this week! p.s. I am not complaining about the warmth, just noting that it is odd. ;) I used one of the cute snowflake cards to make this hot cocoa treat. I cut one flap off the card (the end with half a snowflake). Then I used sticky tape to tape the sides of the remaining snowflake piece, to make a pocket for the hot cocoa packet. I stamped some snowflakes along the bottom and embellished the centers with rhi...

Dessert Anyone?

Once a month I get together with a group of amazing women for Dessert Club aka Mommy's Night Out. We share kid stories, we share life stories, we eat and we drink and we make dessert together. Yes, my friend Rosalynda is pretty brilliant, she is the founder of our group. We tried book club once, no way jose, that requires homework. Plus, I do not have time to read a whole book in one month. (I have cards to make!) Unless they change it to magazine club, I know I can crank out a Glamour, Everyday with Rachael Ray and my Women's Health much faster than I can read an assigned book. Whew. We prefer immediate satisfaction. At dessert club we know we will make a yummy dessert and then devour it before we part ways. Sometimes if our kids, husbands, moms, boyfriends etc are lucky we have some leftover and we share with them. Each month we rotate houses and last month Jessica was the hostess. The hostess gets to choose what dessert we make and Jessica chose Almond Bars.  We had been o...
