Stampin' Sweet

Sometimes I can sit and create for hours. I can come up with designs and layouts that I love. Then there are days where I am inspired by someone else's beautiful creation.  Thankfully, I can CASE that idea! CASE= Copy and Steal Everything. That is what I did with the card I made above. I came across this idea on the Splitcoaststampers website. It was created by Wendy Lee . It is a Vertical Easel card. It is so pretty. When I read the tutorial I knew I had to try it.  I changed it up a bit to use products I had in my craft room.  I must say, this stamp set makes it so easy to make a gorgeous card. One last thing about CASEing a project, make sure you give credit to the creator. Thanks Wendy for sharing this technique!    Where do you find inspiration? 

  This is my go to stamp bundle for masculine cards. I think the dies make it easy to make a statement card. I love layering the pieces and using the Silver Foil Sheets for the gears. Have you had a chance to flip through Stampin' Up's new Mini Catalog? There are so many goodies packed inside. Here are my favorites! Well, they are my favorites for this week anyway!   Every morning I enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee prepared by my personal barista, my husband. He makes me the perfect cup of coffee. He mixes coconut milk and chocolate collagen powder into the best creamer. It is thick and creamy with just the perfect amount of sweetness. Yum. I am very appreciative since he drinks his coffee with no extras, so he goes out of his way to make mine special! On the flip side, I enjoy a cocktail in the evening! It is safe to say, during COVID, my husband perfected his bartending skills and makes the best Negroni around. At least, I think so.  I suppose no matter what our preference may be, this stamp set has something for everyone! Coffee, cocktails, chocolate or cookies I think the majority of people are covered. 

What better way to start 2021 than by showing some love to my blog! I had to take a break from my blog because life....simple as that. I knew I would eventually get back to it. I enjoy sharing my creations. I also love the feeling of being inspired by what others create as well.  For today, I will share the cards I made for our team swap. I used the Floating and Fluttering Bundle from the new Mini Catalog. It is such a great set.  I heat embossed the butterflies on some the Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper. That was the first time I had embossed on DSP and I love how it turned out. I will be using that technique again. I cannot wait to play with more new products from the new mini catalog .
