Halloween Fun

I am sooo excited to share some of the Halloween cards I made. I love Halloween, mostly because I love this time of year. The weather is cool and crisp, the leaves are changing colors, it's the perfect time of year to start baking yummy treats and of course there is more to time to stamp. I know, I know, there are not more hours in the day, I just tend to be indoors more often in the fall! For the card shown above I embossed the vellum paper with the Stampin' Up! Spider Web textured impressions embossing folder and then sponged it with some basic black ink. This was my first time embossing vellum and I think it turned out perfect for this card! For the second card I really wanted a pumpkin on the front, since I did not have any pumpkin stamps (Crazy I know!!!) I punched out three ovals and made my own! So easy and simple. Do the twist!

We made these cute lil twist favors at my last workshop! I got this idea from our Stampin Success magazine. They are super easy and really cute. We filled ours with M&M's. They would be perfect for your next party. You can customize them for weddings, showers, birthdays or Holidays. I wonder how many favorites I can have? This is another one I will add to my list!
