Love is in the Air Everyday!

So even though Valentine's day has passed, we can still do little things to show our love. I used the Filled with Love Paper Pumpkin kit to add some love to my daughter's lunch. A 3"x3" card with a hand written note and an extra special wrapped sandwich will brighten her day! It will be an unexpected treat. Plus, she got a Nutella sandwich, what kid wouldn't be happy about their lunch!

This is the last week for the Love is in the Air Challenge! Be sure to share your lovely creations at the My Pumpkin Challenge. Don't forget to check out what the Design Team has created this week. Stay tuned for an all new challenge next week!

Drawer Treat Box & Greeting Card!

Make this cascading Drawer Treat Box for your crafty friend. Fill it with treats, craft embellishments, needle work supplies or/and office supplies and make your friend’s day. After emptying this little treat ‘heaven’ it can be re-filled and re-used over and over again. It is the perfect desk accessory. Learn how to add a water color look to your flowers without being an artist, and find out how you can Partial Die-Cut with your dies.  Great for a stamp camp, or as a class project.

Rotary Phone vs Generation Z

Today I thought I would share a rather cute video of my daughter figuring out how to use a rotary phone! She is 11 years old and has never touched one before this day. (I apologize for the background chatter, we had a house full of guests). We also had three teenagers give it a try, they figured it out much faster than my girl. I hope you enjoy!

How times have changed! Next I will see if they can figure out my Walkman!

Have a great weekend.

Book Box Card Set!

This is an easy and attractive way to store a set of cards on any desk or shelf. The card box is shaped like a book with two pockets inside. One pocket holds eight cards and the other pocket holds eight envelopes. The card set includes two card designs, four of each design. The book box is held closed with a ribbon tied into a bow. The box and cards are made with the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper, and the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. This would make a great card class, too.

There is Still Love in the Air!

I made this shaker card using many elements of the Paper Pumpkin kit! Can you tell what made the frame for the shaker piece? If not, come back tomorrow and I will show you. The only pieces I added from my stash was the window sheet and the Real Red card stock.

I am having so much creating some Paper Pumpkin alternatives. What have you been making? Be sure to share them over at the My Pumpkin Challenge! I hope you will head over to see what the Design Team has created this week!

All About That Easel Base!

Easels are easy, and they add interest (and convenience) to a variety of projects.  This ensemble features a handy calendar stand with a pocket for note paper that would dress up any desk.  There are two greeting cards—the first one features four easel panels to display four mini stamped creations—art and/or sentiment—and would make a pretty conversation piece.  The second card features a fun twisted easel.  Lastly, the generously-sized gift box (drawer style) has an attached greeting card with its own easel and a subtle, elegant decorative design.

Masculine Valentine Card Idea

To go with the theme Love is in the Air, I changed up the Paper Pumpkin kit to make a masculine valentine card. I don't know about you, but I rarely make masculine cards! I think adding some black elements made it manly! The arrow was made from three red banners that were in the kit!

Show us what you have been making! Share your creations at the My Pumpkin Challenge. Don't forget to mention you are participating in the challenge by inserting a link to the Challenge. It is such a joy to see what everyone is making!

We learn new techniques and ideas. We got brought up to date on the latest SU news. You come out feeling motivated and refreshed! Here are some photos from the event.
The main photo were the gals I roomed with: Leanne, Tammy, Kathy, Amy, Sherri and Shawna. Such great ladies. They were so kind and hilarious!

From the top right, my photo from the plane as the sun was setting. >Pillow gifts from those amazing ladies. >Our Leadership bag. >One night a few of us walked over to Ripley's Believe It or Not, lots of laughs. >The display boards were such great inspiration. >I am working on the Service Project. >Last, I finally had a chance to meet the wonderful Jessica in person! You may know her from the My Pumpkin Challenge, she is the coordinator and brains behind the Challenge! She was so much fun. She is beautiful and lively. I am so happy I got to meet her.

I am so grateful I was able to attend, it was a very thoughtful birthday gift from My Guy! I have lots on my to do list and I am ready to create! Stampin' Up! has so much to offer. Love is in the Air

Didn't you just love the January Paper Pumpkin kit? Yikes! It is adorable. I hope you are a subscriber because the kits just keep getting better. This month at the My Pumpkin Challenge the theme is Love is in the Air. It does not have to be Valentine's Day to share I love you cards/projects. Show someone you love them today!

I used my Jet Black Stazon Ink pad to stamp the mini heart all over the cellophane bag. Tied it up with the lovely pink and gold baker's twine and added the two flags with glue dots. So easy!
