Love is in the Air Everyday!

So even though Valentine's day has passed, we can still do little things to show our love. I used the Filled with Love Paper Pumpkin kit to add some love to my daughter's lunch. A 3"x3" card with a hand written note and an extra special wrapped sandwich will brighten her day! It will be an unexpected treat. Plus, she got a Nutella sandwich, what kid wouldn't be happy about their lunch! This is the last week for the Love is in the Air Challenge! Be sure to share your lovely creations at the My Pumpkin Challenge . Don't forget to check out what the Design Team has created this week. Stay tuned for an all new challenge next week! Rotary Phone vs Generation Z

Today I thought I would share a rather cute video of my daughter figuring out how to use a rotary phone! She is 11 years old and has never touched one before this day. (I apologize for the background chatter, we had a house full of guests). We also had three teenagers give it a try, they figured it out much faster than my girl. I hope you enjoy!   How times have changed! Next I will see if they can figure out my Walkman! Have a great weekend.

Book Box Card Set!

This is an easy and attractive way to store a set of cards on any desk or shelf. The card box is shaped like a book with two pockets inside. One pocket holds eight cards and the other pocket holds eight envelopes. The card set includes two card designs, four of each design. The book box is held closed with a ribbon tied into a bow. The box and cards are made with the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set, Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper, and the Best Year Ever Accessory Pack. This would make a great card class, too. There is Still Love in the Air!

I made this shaker card using many elements of the Paper Pumpkin kit! Can you tell what made the frame for the shaker piece? If not, come back tomorrow and I will show you. The only pieces I added from my stash was the window sheet and the Real Red card stock. I am having so much creating some Paper Pumpkin alternatives. What have you been making? Be sure to share them over at the My Pumpkin Challenge ! I hope you will head over to see what the Design Team has created this week! Thanks for stopping by!

All About That Easel Base!

Easels are easy, and they add interest (and convenience) to a variety of projects.  This ensemble features a handy calendar stand with a pocket for note paper that would dress up any desk.  There are two greeting cards—the first one features four easel panels to display four mini stamped creations—art and/or sentiment—and would make a pretty conversation piece.  The second card features a fun twisted easel.  Lastly, the generously-sized gift box (drawer style) has an attached greeting card with its own easel and a subtle, elegant decorative design. This beautiful project was created by Regina Andari . To get the instructions for this project just subscribe to February at Craft Project Central .
