Hello to you!

Every once and awhile we get a sneak peak at spring in Denver. Just like today, it was almost 70 degrees, it was lovely. Now, I can hear the wind howling and the weather man says we will have cooler temps and rain tomorrow. I will not be surprised if we get more snow! I am ready for spring and warmer weather. What is the weather like in your neck of woods? No matter what the weather is like, it is always the perfect temperature in my stamp room! March has flown by and this is the last week of the "Fun With Circles & Bags" samples from the Design Team, but you still have time to share your creations at the My Pumpkin Challenge . For my sample I paper pierced circles on the bag. I also stamped Hello to you (from a past My Paper Pumpkin kit) on the bag handle. I really have enjoyed this kit. They just keep getting better and better. Please stop by the My Pumpkin Challenge for more inspiration. Thanks for stopping by!

Not the Norm

Happy Friday everyone! I am looking forward to the weekend. I think we are expecting snow this weekend in Denver. It sounds like I will be indoors playing with my stamps! Have you seen or made a Card in a Box? They are all the rage on Pinterest, and they are bursting with creativity! I am so glad I finally had a chance to make one of these fun cards. They look very intimidating, but I found an excellent template with directions created by Heidi . She simplified the instructions and now I know the box is easy to make. Once you make the box you can embellish it however you wish. What I love about this card is that when it collapses it will fit in the medium sized envelopes Stampin' Up! carries (standard card size). This card was so fun to make. Whoever receives a card in a box will be delighted! It is so different. I hope you will give it a try. My Stampin' Crew made one at my class last weekend. They loved it! Just as the title of my posts states, this is not your normal

Baseball Fever

For the past few months in my household we have had baseball fever. My son started baseball practice, indoors of course. We cannot trust the weather in Colorado yet since it is technically still winter. He is playing on two teams right now so there is a lot going on for him. Luckily, my daughter is between activities so it is a little bit easier, until her volleyball season begins! He has made a "designated" area in the living room for all of his baseball equipment. I should be happy it is all in one place. In the next few weeks my car will also transform into baseball central. It will permanently be home to baseball bags, balls, bats, catching gear, gloves, sunflower seeds, water bottles, cleats etc and that is just for my son. Me, My Man, and my daughter also have our essentials as spectators. Blankets, extra coats, a cabana shelter and My Man even found us some fancy camping folding chairs that recline, have a headrest and footrest. When you are at a baseball field hou
